All contributions can be transferred preferably by Cheque/ Demand Draft / online transfers in fa-vour of “Jeevarathni Foundation”.

Is there an advantage of donating online?
Yes. Donating online is quick, cost effective, and avoids the hassles of running around Banks and Offices.

How can I donate online?
You can contribute by using Net Banking or Online transfers to the bank account mentioned in the previous section.

How safe is my personal information with Jeevarathni ?
We are committed to protecting your personal information and have strict confidentiality policies.

I notice you have mentioned rupees, but can I donate in dollars, sterling pound or any other currency?
At present, we have online donation only in Indian Rupees. The Foundation has 12A and 80G ex-emptions from the Income Tax Department, and has also applied to the Central Government for FCRA and 35AC (for any specific project) and the same are expected shortly. Pending FCRA clearance, we are not in a position to accept foreign donations now.

Are there any tax benefits for donating to Jeevarathni?
Your donation will be a charitable contribution. Indian citizens get income tax benefit under section 80G.

Will you send me tax exemption certificate?
Certainly, we will send an exemption Certificate of the 80G, after your transaction is confirmed in the records. However this receipt is valid for residents in India only.

I don’t have any money to donate. How can I help?
There are many ways you can help without donating.
The easiest, is to Spread the Word about Jeevarathni to friends and family. Help us by informing as many people as possible about the Foundation and its activities. Word of mouth, the internet, group mails, and the office grapevine.
Not so easy , is to donate your TIME for the children – by imparting skills, art, craft, music, sports etc. One of the best investment you can make, would be your presence that you share with our children.
